Dr. Nicole Ford-Francis embodies leadership in government business development and in program management. In her various roles she navigates with strategic business acumen, and she fosters growth and quality customer service in government and private sectors. Her tenure has honed her capacity to guide teams, develop strategic plans, and secure new partnerships, all while ensuring alignment with her mission to lead a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). Her business is also a Maryland-based Woman-Owned and Minority Owned Small Business.
Nicole's approach is rooted in collaboration, with a commitment to integrating organizational leadership and project coordination skills in every initiative. Leveraging over 20 years as an Government Program Manager, Special Educator, Civil Rights and Labor Advocate, School Administrator, and Business Principal Consultant has translated this experience into tangible success. This success has cultivated prosperous relationships that resonate with her clients and stakeholders.
Dr. Nicole M. Ford-Francis has extensive experience in various industries, including government contracting, education, healthcare, and telecommunications. Dr. Nicole formerly held the role of Sr. Vice President of Business Development at The Ventura Group, Inc. She also serves as an Advisory Board Member at The George Washington University School of Business, where she contributes to the Transformative Leadership in Disruptive Times Certificate Program. Dr. Nicole also provides leadership as a Practitioner and Principal Consultant at Unicorn Pharmacopeia, LLC, where they provided services in the field of integrative medicine, herbal energy and plant-based treatments.
Additionally, Dr. Ford-Francis worked as the CEO at Visionary Policy Institute, LLC, which was the parent company of V.I.P Corp. She has a successful track record writing and winning proposals, providing leadership on winning Joint Ventures, and developing extensive research for government and business strategy efforts. Dr. Nicole M. Ford-Francis has also held roles as a Graduate School Professor, proposal management, and radio talk show host on Radio One and Urban One Radio. Network.
Dr. Nicole M. Ford-Francis holds a Doctorate of Education from Nova Southeastern University, specializing in Management of Human Service Organizations specializing in Bio-Sociology. Dr. Nicole M. earned a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Special Education and Teaching from Coppin State University. Dr. Ford-Francis also has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology/Biological Sciences from Towson University. Dr. Nicole M. completed four years of her studies pre-medical studies in Biology at Morgan State University. She attended the Historic Baltimore City College High School and completed the college/university preparatory and advanced high school/secondary diploma program, focusing on humanities/humanistic studies. In terms of additional certifications, Dr. Ford-Francis has completed the CMMI for Customer Service (Level 2) program from the Software Engineering Institute at Carnegie Mellon University and holds a Six Sigma Master Black Belt from the International Six Sigma Institute. She holds a certificate in Holistic Pain Management and is an expert in Herbal and Plant-based Medicine.
